This is another example of using layers in Photoshop. The top layer is the batter making contact, minus the rest of the background. The bottom layer is the follow through of the swing, with it's original background.
This look was created using the 'paint daubs' filter in Photoshop CS2.
This effect was done by creating a black and white layer on top of the color original. Using the eraser tool, the catcher and runner were erased from the black and white layer, allowing the color layer to show through.
This interesting effect was made by first converting the original photo to black and white, and then applying 2 built in filters; the dry brush, and plastic filters.
This effect was created by using the motion blur filter on a select portion of the photo.
